How to Make a Caramel Macchiato Using a Moka Pot

A Moka Pot is a stove top coffee maker that produces coffee similar to espresso, but a little bit sweeter and a lot less acidic.Moka pots have three parts, a lower chamber, which is filled with water, a middle basket, which contains the coffee grounds, and an upper chamber, where the coffee is poured from. The moka pot uses high pressure and temperature to push the water from the bottom chamber up through the grounds into the upper chamber to be poured. Because the coffee it produces is similar to espresso, it can be used to make drinks that would usually contain espresso, like lattes and macchiatos.coffee, espresso, moka pot, caramel macchiato, jmc 305

If you want the best possible experience please for the love of all things caffeinated, support your local coffee roasters and buy freshly roasted WHOLE BEAN coffee and grind it yourself. Hand grinders aren't expensive and you'll vastly improve your coffee experience. If you don't want to shell out the cash on a grinder, please still buy from a local roaster, they will grind it for you if you ask them to. Pre-ground coffee from supermarket shelves is most likely WELL past it's ability to give it's best possible flavour.

Also, digital weighing scales. Weigh your coffee. It'll make a hell of a difference. They're cheap and you probably already have one. As long as it measures per gram and has a Tare option it's perfect.

Some strange statements in the video. The pot doesn't whistle, and the flats on the top and bottom do not need to line up.
